FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. - The 18 sound stages at Pinewood Atlanta Studios have hosted some of the biggest films in recent history. But you don’t have to be a movie star to eat like one at the Fayetteville facility.
Brothers Jim and Joe Hanna started their Hanna Brothers Motion Picture & Event Catering business in 1997, serving food to the casts and crews of more than 200 productions since then.
Now, the brothers have opened The Studio Cafe at Pinewood Atlanta Studios, a movie studio-style commissary open to the general public. Located inside the studio Production Centre, chefs prepare “grab-and go” items on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and also open a lunch buffet Tuesdays through Fridays from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The cafe is open for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays, and also hosts a Saturday Mimosa Brunch. Although the menu changes each day, diners can expect Oscar-worthy entrees including house-smoked brisket, fresh steamed crab legs, and blackened chicken with corn sauce.
Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken is never one to turn down a chance to visit a film studio, especially when there’s food involved! He spent the morning at The Studio Cafe at Pinewood Atlanta Studios, getting a taste of what makes the Hanna Brothers a Hollywood favorite.
