Yurt Village opens at Sweetwater Creek State Park

Campers at Sweetwater Creek State Park will get a new lodging option starting next week -- and fans of "glamping" are going to love this one!

The new "yurt village" officially opens at the Lithia Springs state park with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, August 29.

Sweetwater Creek State Park, meanwhile, is a quick drive from Atlanta, and includes a 215-acre reservoir and the ruins of the New Manchester Manufacturing Company, a mill burned during the Civil War.

Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken just had to be one of the first to see the new yurt village, and spent the morning getting a tour of these unique structures.
