A young man is dead and three other men are injured after a shootout Wednesday night at a Gwinnett County home.

Authorities said the incident may have erupted following a party. They said as many as four gunman could've been involved in the crowd of roughly 20 men in their early teens and twenties.

Several homes and cars were riddled with bullets in the crossfire.

Lizbeth Delgado, 13, tells FOX  5 one of the bullets hit her one-year-old nephew's room. The family, however, took cover downstairs. None of them were hurt.

"We heard guns. It sounded like fireworks at first," said Delgado.

According to Gwinnett Police, they are questioning some of the men involved in the incident but have made no arrests. Some of the men told detectives they acted in self-defense.

Authorities will release the name of the deceased victim after family notification, according to Gwinnett County Police Corporal Deon Washington.

The other three victims are being treated at Atlanta and Gwinnett Medical Centers.

The deceased victim in the shooting has been identified as Tre Edwards, 20, from Lilburn. The three other men who were shot are in stable condition and expected to survive, according to police.
