2 escaped Georgia inmates captured
UPSON COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Authorities have captured two escaped Spalding County inmates.
According to the Georgia Department of Corrections, the two inmates, James Rodney Owenby and Zachery Glenn Rampley, left a work detail just before noon Wednesday. They were both working at the city maintenance department cutting grass along Veterans Drive in Thomaston, officials said.

Rampley was captured early Thursday morning in Dalton by Whitfield County deputies. Owenby was apprehended in Spalding County.

The inmates, both 27, were being held at Spalding Correctional Institute in Griffin.

The Georgia Department of Corrections said both inmates are known members of the Ghostface Gangsters and Aryan prison gang.
