Two men are in stable condition after an early morning shooting at a recording studio in northwest Atlanta.

Atlanta Police said they received a call around 2 a.m. about a shooting at 669 Antone St NW. The owner of nearby Astro's studio told FOX 5's Laura Neal, the shooting happened at Uptown Studio.

Lt. William Ricker said the shooting happened in the front holding room of the studio. He says both men were visitors of the studio.

The men are in their 20s. One man was shot multiple times in the back, the other in the elbow and hip. The man shot in the back was able to get to a nearby QuikTrip gas station after the shooting.

Police are investigating that scene as well.

APD says both men are at Grady Memorial Hospital in stable condition.

Officers have a warrant to investigate the studio. There is a camera in the holding room where the shooting took place.

They are working to view the video to get a better idea of what happened. So far, police say there are some technical issues with watching the surveillance footage.

The studio issued a statement late Thursday which reads:

“In the nearly 20 year existence of Studio Row, we and our neighbors have placed a priority on keeping the neighborhood safe.  We believe this was a targeted attack, an isolated incident, something we have never experienced before.  Uptown Studios will take extra precautions including increased security to ensure the safety of our clients and team.  We are cooperating with Atlanta Police Department to ensure that justice is swiftly served. “
