3 arrested for meth trafficking after traffic stop by Gordon County deputies

Authorities have arrested three individuals on meth trafficking charges following a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 41 near the Bartow County line. The incident occurred at approximately 3 p.m. Dec. 30.

Gordon County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted a search during the traffic stop, uncovering a significant quantity of methamphetamine packaged and ready for distribution. The occupants of the vehicle, identified as Jimmy McCoy, 62, of Boone Ford Road; Ashley Kelley, 39, of Resaca; and Pamela Arnwine, 32, of Ranger, were taken into custody without incident.

All three suspects have been charged with trafficking methamphetamine and other related offenses. Authorities indicated the investigation is ongoing and additional arrests may be forthcoming.
