4-alarm fire damages buildings in Baltimore's Fell's Point neighborhood
BALTIMORE, Md. - Firefighters in Baltimore battled a 4-alarm blaze early Friday morning in the city’s Fells Point neighborhood.
The fire was reported around 2:30 a.m. in the 400 block of South Broadway. The flames badly damaged Budeke’s Paint store and a nearby church. Smoke from the fire could be seen for miles around. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Fell’s Point is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Baltimore recognized for its cobblestone streets, historic buildings and popular nightlife.
