COBB COUNTY, Ga. - The Atlanta Track Club hosted the Braves Country 5K at the new Atlanta Braves ballpark Saturday.
The event kicked off the Braves’ inaugural season at SunTrust Park without hundreds of runners in attendance.
Runners wound their way through the streets of Cobb County and finished inside SunTrust Park on the warning track with a special welcome on the scoreboard.
The event also included a One Mile and 50m Dash, and all participants received a commemorative shirt.
