A welcome home for two dozen army medical soldiers

FOREST PARK, Ga. - A welcome home Friday for a group of military medical professionals.

Friday morning's Welcome Home Warrior Citizen Recognition Ceremony took place in Forest Park to honor about two dozen army medical soldiers.

The soldiers deployed as part of the global war on terrorism.

FOX 5 News spoke to some of the soldiers about their experience.

Organizers also honored family members of the soldiers for their sacrifice.
