Accident shuts down I-285 at Atlanta Road in Cobb County

COBB COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Interstate 285 was backed up for miles Thursday evening.

The southbound lanes in Cobb County were blocked off after a crash involving a tractor-trailer.

The accident happened at the Atlanta Road Exit around 7 p.m.

The lanes reopened about two hours later.

No word on any injuries or the cause.
