Actor Thomas Guiry was arrested in early June for allegedly throwing a 35-pound dumbbell at a Jeep and damaging the windshield.

Police arrested Guiry in Horry County, South Carolina, and charged him with third-degree assault and battery and malicious injury to personal property. He was released from jail after posting a $1,000 bond.

The 43-year-old was accused of smashing the windshield and going to a man’s door with a knife, WBTW-TV in South Carolina reported citing a police report.

Guiry made his acting debut at 11 years old in the 1993 movie "The Sandlot" playing the character Scott Smalls. The New Jersey native also appeared in the films "Lassie," "The Last Home Run," "Wrestling with Alligators," "Black Hawk Down" and "Justice," according to IMDb.

WMBF-TV in South Carolina noted that officers were talking to Guiry when his neighbor shouted his window was shattered.

The neighbor told police that Guiry wrecked his windshield with the dumbbell and displayed a knife as he approached his door ringing the doorbell.

Citing the police report, WMBF reported that Guiry apologized to his neighbor, saying "I’ll pay you back."

Guiry later admitted to police officers that he had demolished the windshield.
