Manhunt underway for 2 Milton burglars
Police say the Milton burglary suspects led them on a chase before abandoning the car at a middle school in Alpharetta. A manhunt is underway.
ALPHARETTA, Ga. - Police were asking residents to avoid an Alpharetta trail while they search for a person connected to a reported home invasion on Monday.
The Alpharetta Police Department said that officers are searching the Big Creek Greenway for a person related to a possible home invasion at a residence along Highgrove Club Drive in Milton that occurred earlier Monday morning. Investigators say two men involved in the home invasion stole a black Escalade.
Alpharetta police say that SUV was later ditched at Haynes Bridge Middle School and the two men took off running.

Milton home invasion suspect press conference
Police confirmed they were now looking for two suspects in connection to Monday's Milton home invasion.
Officials were asking people to avoid the 8-mile-long trail while the officers work in the area, but gave an "all clear" a little before 4 p.m.
Police say officers were searching for two men. One of the men is not wearing a shirt, has tattoos on his chest and has wet pants.
Police have not released any details about the reported home invasion at this time.
Fulton County Schools places Haynes Bridge Middle School and New Prospect on a precautionary lockdown. At 2:52 p.m., students were allowed to be picked up by their parents. Fulton County school officials say there will be no school bus drop off in the Kimball Farms subdivision.
