America experiencing longest sports drought since 1918
ATLANTA - Monday marked 103 days since any American has seen a live professional sports game from the MLB, NBA, NFL, or NHL.
It's the longest drought of sports since the fall of 1918 when the World Series was held in September amid World War I and the Spanish Flu.
Back then, there was no NBA and NFL and no televisions either, so it wasn't as big of a deal as it is today.
