Apartment fire displaces 8 Atlanta families
ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - The Red Cross is assisting families forced out of their apartments by a fire in Atlanta.
The fire happened at the Abby Ridge Apartments on the 3100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Southwest Atlanta.
Officials say more than 38 people from eight different families have been affected by the fire.
The Red Cross will provide emergency assistance such as lodging, food, clothing, and more.
The fire is still under investigation.
