App suggest Georgia is the sickest in the country right now

ATLANTA - Flu epidemic continues to hit Georgia hard.

In fact, according to the Kinsa smartphone app, the state is the sickest place in the country.

The app has a million users across America.

It said seven percent of users in Georgia are feeling flu-like symptoms. That's a jump of more than one percent in a week.

Georgia isn't the only state suffering. South Carolina and Alabama are the second and third sickest states in the nation.
