Arrest made in major drug bust in Stewart County
RICHLAND, Ga. - Authorities made an arrest in a major drug operation at a Sumter County home on January 19.
According to the GBI agents found $10,000 worth of marijuana and around $1,000 worth of cocaine in the home of Eric Lenn Josey, 54, in Richland, Georgia.
Agents also found hydrocodone and ecstasy pills while they were searching the house.
Josey was arrested and faces several charges including of cocaine possession, possession of marijuana, possession of hydrocodone, and possession of MDMA. All of these charges also include the intent to distribute.
The arrest of Josey follows months of an investigation by the GBI and the West Metro Regional DEA office.
