Arrest made in murder of Clayton County man
JONESBORO, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Police have arrested a man in connection to the shooting death of a Clayton County man while he was visiting his friend's house.
Police say on the night of Dec.21 they were called to the 1600 block of Broad River Road after reports of multiple shots fired.
When they got to the scene, officers found Iseir George shot twice outside his friend's home.
Police say a handgun and rifle caliber shell casing were also found on the scene.
After an investigation, the Clayton County Sheriff's Department identified a suspect in the shooting as Dakari Tolbert. Deputies apprehended Tolbert on Jan. 8, charging him with felony murder. He is currently held at the Clayton County Jail.
Officials say Tolbert's girlfriend, Carina Robinson, was charged with harboring a fugitive.
