Gwinnett County Police have made two arrests in connection with a shooting outside a Marco's Pizza last month.

Dametrius Marquel Sims, 23, and Oshay Quante Howard, 20, were both arrested and charged following the October 9 shooting, which happened in the 4000 block of Five Forks Trickum Road.

According to police, Quinn Harned, the manager at the Marco's Pizza, was walking to his car after closing the restaurant when he was shot. Officers found the victim in the parking lot, suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest.

Police said Harned was shot during an attempted robbery.

Medics rushed Harned to Gwinnett Medical Center where he was expected to survive.

Sims was taken into custody on October 13, and police connected him to four other armed robbery cases. Howard was arrested on Halloween.
