Atlanta mayor addresses Buckhead Coalition

ATLANTA - Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms addressed the Buckhead Coalition's annual luncheon Wednesday.

It was one of her first appearances before the invite-only group after the coalition endorsed Mary Norwood in last year's mayoral race.

Perhaps in a nod to that divisive race, which Bottoms won by fewer than a thousand votes, the theme of this year's lunch was Atlanta Together, an attempt to highlight ways to unite Atlanta neighborhoods.

The Buckhead Coalition is an invitation-only business organization.

Former Atlanta Mayer Sam Massell leads the group.
