Teen seriously injured in triple car crash on Metropolitan Parkway
Investigators are looking into a crash involving three vehicles at the intersection of Wells Street and Metropolitan Parkway on Dec. 3, 2023.
ATLANTA - A 13-year-old girl was sent to the hospital in critical condition after being seriously injured in a triple car crash Sunday afternoon.
It happened at around 3:45 p.m. near the intersection of Wells Street and Metropolitan Parkway.
Atlanta police say a Hyundai Elantra was making a turn onto Wells Streets from Metropolitan Parkway when it was hit by a Nissan Altima, causing it to crash into a Nissan Rogue.
The drivers of the Altima and Rogue were uninjured.
The driver of the Elantra and three of its passengers sustained minor injuries. A fifth occupant, the young teen, was hurt badly.

The Atlanta Police Department's Accident Investigations Unit is looking into the crash as the investigation continues.
