Atlanta officer collides with pickup truck

ATLANTA - Atlanta police are looking into an accident involving an officer and another vehicle in northwest Atlanta.

It happened on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway near the Bankhead MARTA Station around 10:30 a.m.

SKYFOX 5 flew over the scene and found the front end of an Atlanta police cruiser smashed to pieces and a black pickup truck in the middle of the intersection.

No word on the cause of the accident.

The names of the officer and the other driver have not yet been released.

Police said there were no injuries.
