Atlanta police investigating possible smash-and-grab at Lululemon store

Atlanta police are investigating a possible smash-and-grab burglary at a local retail store on Howell Mill Road. Officers responded to the Lululemon store early Tuesday morning after reports of a break-in.

Upon arrival, authorities found the front door of the store shattered, with glass scattered across the entrance. Investigators have not yet disclosed what was stolen during the burglary.

A nearby business owner, whose store was also recently targeted, described a similar incident involving a group of burglars.

"I think it was September 30th, about six to ten individuals ran in," the business owner recalled. "They had stolen a car and driven it through the front of our location around 5:30 a.m. Another stolen car followed them. Both vehicles were untraceable due to missing plate information. Detectives are working with the city to address this issue, which seems to be affecting a wide range of businesses in the area," the business owner said.

The business owner expressed concern about the frequency of these crimes. "It’s happening to stores like ours and now even to a completely different type of store like Lululemon."

As of now, Atlanta police have not released any information about potential suspects. The investigation is ongoing.

Authorities urge anyone with information related to the incident to contact Atlanta Police or Crime Stoppers.
