Atlanta Police: Man killed, teen injured in double shooting

ATLANTA - A 21-year-old man is dead and a 17-year-old boy is in critical condition after a double shooting in southwest Atlanta early Friday morning, according to police.

Investigators believe the shooting happened on Dale Lane but the victims drove to a relative's home on Star Mist Drive to seek help.

Both victims were taken to the hospital, where the 21-year-old man died.

Family members told FOX 5's Aungelique Proctor the victim is Justin Hill, is a father of 6 children.

They gathered at an aunt's house on Dale Lane with heavy hearts, took upset to talk on camera.

Officers don't have a suspect description at this time. Police believe this was a car to car shooting.

Members of Justin Hill's family gathered on Star Mist Drive on Sunday evening for a candlelight vigil.
