Atlanta rapper Dae Dae arrested in Greene County
GREENE COUNTY, Ga. - Well known hip-hop artist and Atlanta native, Dae Dae, was arrested on Thursday in Greene County, Georgia.
According to the Greene County Sheriff's Office, Dae Dae whose real name is Marquavis Goolsby, was arrested on stolen gun and drug allegations.
Authorities stopped a vehicle on I-20 for going 92 mph in a 70 mph zone.
Captain Lee Stancill tells FOX 5 News, authorities found guns in the vehicle. Goolsby was the passenger and the driver, Dontavious McCray, was also arrested and faces charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Goolsby tried to dispose of marijuana in the patrol car while he was being taken to jail, according to authorities.
Goolsby is from Atlanta and has a hit song called "Wat U Mean."
