ATLANTA - Rapper and philanthropist Quavo was recently named the "Humanitarian of the Year" by Variety magazine at the eighth annual Hitmakers Brunch in Hollywood.
The ceremony, held earlier this week, celebrated the Grammy-nominated artist for his impactful efforts to combat gun violence.
Quavo's dedication to this cause intensified after the tragic 2022 loss of his nephew and fellow Migos member, Takeoff. Since then, he has become a vocal advocate, meeting with Vice President Kamala Harris to discuss strategies to address the issue.
