Atlanta Toys for Tots in need of new warehouse

The Atlanta Toys for Tots Campaign, which is the largest in the country, is in need of a new warehouse.

At the end of the 2017 campaign, Atlanta Toys for Tots will lose its large space used for distributing thousands of toys for children in need. The current space, a corner of Pepsi's Quaker Oats Building off Fulton Industrial Boulevard, has been used by Toys for Tots for the last three years.

The campaign team hopes to find a vacant building south of Interstate 20 east or west, or near Atlanta's airport. It's important to be near the interstate for distribution purposes.

The Atlanta team uses about 200,000-square-feet during the distribution season, October through December, then about 20,000-square-feet for storage the rest of the year.

Atlanta Toys for Tots distributed nearly 960,000 toys last year to more than 400,000 metro Atlanta children.

"We need help to continue our mission."

Anyone interested in donating a warehouse to the Atlanta Toys for Tots Campaign can email ChristmasToys@att.net or call 678-887-5179.
