ATLANTA - Thousands of women took part in the second annual Women's March Saturday.
The event was held in dozens of cities across the county – including in Atlanta.
The march started at 11:45 a.m. at Woodruff Park. Protestors peacefully walked the 1.75-mile government loop "for all causes of equality and social justice."
Afterwards, participants went to the Georgia Alliance for Social Justice's "Power to the Polls" event that took place at The Bakery on Warner Street at noon.
The grassroots event drew thousands of people.
