Audit finds million dollar waste in Temple, Georgia
TEMPLE, Ga. - More than a million dollars of waste in one small city's budget, that's what forensic auditors concluded after reviewing spending in the city of Temple, Georgia.
Some of the findings: seized drug money spent on supplies then sold off, buildings bought and renovated then torn down, and supplies shipped to nonexistent addresses.
