Billy Ray Cyrus releases spanish version of 'Achy Breaky Heart'

In anticipation of Cinco de Mayo celebrations on Friday, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus has released a new Spanish version of his hit song “Achy Breaky Heart.”

The new version, entitled "No Rompas Mas Mi Corazon," was produced by Cyrus and Don Von Tress and will be released on iTunes on Wednesday, the 25th anniversary of the song’s original release. Cyrus recorded the song with Caballo Dorado, a Mexican quintet, and fellow country music singer, Ronnie Milsap, who played keys on the new track.

"These cats had their career explode with this simple Don Von Tress song much like me," said Cyrus in a news release. "This really is a universal song, and it was a blast to have these guys record with us."

Released in 1992, the "Achy Breaky Heart" song quickly became a worldwide phenomenon, becoming a multi-million selling country single.
