ATLANTA - Black Friday. It's soon. Very soon. Many of you now shop online, but there are some diehard folks who still hit the stores.
Why would you even go out on a busy day like Black Friday if you can shop at the keyboard? Well, there are blockbuster deals that can only be had if you're first in line. Those crazy deals sell out in minutes. So, if that's your thing, you need to know when the stores open.
What's worth setting that very early alarm? Well, big doorbuster deals are usually on big screen TVs, tablets, Xboxes, designer clothing and large appliances. If you need or want those things, but want a crazy deal, get to the store early to gobble up the limited supply.
Each year around this time. we turn to our friends at www.dealnews.com. It's a comparison-shopping site over in neighboring Alabama. Their team has built a list of Thanksgiving and Black Friday store hours. Some hours are confirmed, like Sears, which opens on Black Friday at 5 a.m. And Ulta, which opens at midnight.
Some are not yet nailed down, but are projected times based on last year's openings. For example, stores like Apple, Holly Lobby, and Bed, Bath & Beyond are projected to be closed on Thanksgiving.
