Woman found dead at Gwinnett County park

Gwinnett County police have released new details about the woman found dead inside Yellow River Park near Stone Mountain on Wednesday as investigators continue to search for both her identity and her killer.

Police have identified the victim of a deadly shooting found early Wednesday morning at the Yellow River Park in Gwinnett County.

Officials said the victim was identified as 18-year-old Tori Lang of Lithonia.

A Gwinnett County Police Department spokesperson said officers responding to a report of an "unknown medical call" discovered the woman's body around 6:30 a.m.

Lang's body had three very distinct tattoos. Investigators released photos of the tattoos which were later positively identified by family members.

One tattoo shows a heart cross tattoo with the date 8-16-07 pink or reddish in color on the right side of the neck. A tattoo "Faith makes all possible" on the left side of the neck and what appears to be roman numerals with the date 9-16-2002 on the wrist.

Detectives are investigating the death as a homicide and exploring all motives, police said.

Police ask anyone with information to contact GCPD detectives at 770-513-5300 or Atlanta Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477).
