FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - In a Fulton County courtroom Thursday, one of the three suspects charged in connection to the death and disappearance of Allahnia Lenoir faced a judge.
For the second time, Nicholas Hendrickson asked to be given bond, but a Fulton County judge quickly shot that down.
Before that decision, Lenoir’s mom made a tearful plea in court to keep Hendrickson locked up. She said she fears for her safety if he were to get out.
"I wish I could tell you I'm a little less hurt and that I sleep better at night," said Jannette Jackson, Lenoir’s mom. "I wish I could tell you I no longer have nightmares of the people who helped my daughter disappear."

Lenoir was last seen at a Midtown Atlanta apartment complex in July 2022, but investigators believe she is dead. While Hendrickson is not accused of killing Lenoir, he is charged with helping dispose of her body, which still has not been found. Thursday after more than a year in jail, Hendrickson’s attorney said this case has dragged on, and he deserves a bond or to finally go to trial.
"To violate his right to a bond because we feel sorry for the alleged victim's parents, I don't think that that's appropriate," said Carter Clayton, Hendrickson’s Defense Attorney.

The prosecution fought giving him bond and ultimately won.
"I made a determination that was not easy on this already, and nothing changes that determination," said Fulton County Superior Court Judge Jane Barwick.
Who else is charged in connection with Allahnia Lenoir's death?
Two other suspects are charged in this case. Steven Oboite and Diante Reynolds, both face several charges including murder. Court documents accuse them of giving her an opiate and not calling for help when she was in distress.
Reynolds has been arrested, but Oboite is still on the run and is one of APD’s most wanted. Lenoir’s mom wants him caught and is offering a $25,000 reward.
"They should want to know the truth and have these people off the street," Jackson said.
After bond was denied, Hendrickson asked for a speedy trial, but that has not been ruled on yet.
What happened to Allahnia Lenoir?
Lenoir was last seen going to an apartment complex at 1660 Peachtree Street on July 31, 2022, with a female friend. Family members told FOX 5 that the two women met up with two men at the apartment. Lenoir never returned home.
Almost three months later, Atlanta police announced that their investigation revealed she was killed inside an apartment on Peachtree Street and her body was moved. They identified 29-year-old Diante Reynolds and 29-year-old Steven Oboite as suspects. Reynolds was already in jail at the time on unrelated charges.
In January 2023, Nicholas Henrickson was indicted by a grand jury for his role in helping the two suspected killers dispose of Lenori's body.
Lenoir's body has not been recovered.
