A Cobb County judge has denied bond for the man accused of causing the wreck which killed two men in a suspected street-racing crash last month.

George Cambi, 19, of Austell, faces charges of vehicular homicide, reckless driving, racing and second-degree cruelty to children, according to Cobb County Police.

Cambi was street racing on April 7 when he crashed into another car near Floyd and Bates roads in Mableton, investigators said, killing Patrick Duff and his friend James Wheeler. Witnesses reported seeing two vehicles racing before the crash.

Cambi had a young child in the back seat, police said.

No word on Cambi’s next court appearance.
