Bowling alley hopes to reopen Sunday following roof collapse last week
NEWNAN, Ga. - A Newnan bowling alley has been closed for a full week now after a heavy rainstorm caused part of the roof to collapse last Friday.
Junction Lanes had initially hoped to re-open for business Friday but they said inspections still need to be completed.
As of Friday afternoon, crews were still working to clear out debris and repair damage.
In particular, standing water caused the roof over the indoor golf area to collapse.
The general manager of Junction Lanes said they hope to be open for business by Sunday.
