Broadway in Atlanta announces 2025-26 season, waitlist now open

Broadway in Atlanta has revealed its highly anticipated 2025-26 season, offering an exciting mix of critically acclaimed productions and cherished classics that will take the stage at the Fox Theatre. Spanning from September 2025 to July 2026, the season will include 13 shows, many of which continue to sell out on Broadway.

Headlining the lineup is Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, a six-time Tony Award-winning production that will bring its magical story to Atlanta in February 2026. The season also features fan-favorites like Back to the Future: The Musical, Six, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Hadestown, MJ the Musical, and more.

2025-26 Broadway in Atlanta Show Schedule

  • Back to the Future: The Musical (Sept. 23-28, 2025): Winner of the 2022 Olivier Award for Best New Musical, this production follows Marty McFly and Doc Brown in their time-traveling DeLorean on an unforgettable adventure.
  • Kimberly Akimbo (Oct. 14-19, 2025): This five-time Tony Award-winning musical is a heartwarming yet humorous tale of a teenager navigating life with a rare genetic condition, family dysfunction, and her first crush.
  • Hadestown (Nov. 14-16, 2025): Winner of eight Tony Awards and a Grammy, this show reimagines the Greek myths of Orpheus and Eurydice and King Hades and Persephone in a Depression-era dystopian world.
  • The Outsiders (Nov. 25-30, 2025): Based on S.E. Hinton’s iconic novel, this coming-of-age story follows Ponyboy Curtis and his gang of Greasers in a tale of identity and belonging.
  • Elf the Musical (Dec. 16-21, 2025): The holiday favorite follows Buddy, a human raised by Santa’s elves, on his journey to New York City to find his biological father.
  • Hell’s Kitchen (Jan. 6-11, 2026): Featuring music by 16-time Grammy winner Alicia Keys, this story of a young girl finding her purpose in life unfolds in New York’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood.
  • MJ the Musical (Jan. 27-Feb. 1, 2026): This Tony-winning production celebrates the life and music of Michael Jackson, focusing on the creation of his 1992 Dangerous World Tour.
  • Riverdance 30 — The New Generation (Feb. 6-7, 2026): A dazzling anniversary performance combining Irish dance with innovative lighting, costumes, and projections.
  • Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (Feb. 28-March 21, 2026): This visually stunning continuation of J.K. Rowling’s wizarding world takes audiences on a time-traveling adventure filled with magic and heart.
  • The Sound of Music (April 7-12, 2026): The beloved classic about Maria and the von Trapp family continues to charm audiences after 65 years.

Fox Theatre’s Record-Breaking Year

Broadway in Atlanta’s announcement comes on the heels of a record-setting year for the Fox Theatre. In 2024, the venue generated over $50 million in gross ticket sales and hosted more than 600,000 fans. Highlights included sold-out shows like SIX and To Kill a Mockingbird and a multi-week engagement of Hamilton that drew over 116,000 attendees and generated more than $30 million in local economic impact.
