Brookhaven Police Department are now using a drone to help them make arrests involving drugs.
BROOKHAVEN, Ga. - Brookhaven police say a drone played a key role in a recent drug bust in a parking lot.
The incident happened on Feb. 6 in the middle of the day. According to police, the drone spotted a drug transaction from above, allowing officers on the ground to move in and make an arrest.
Authorities say they recovered meth, cocaine, marijuana, and oxycodone during the bust.
