BUFORD, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - The man accused of shooting and killing a war veteran, leaving him in the middle of the road in downtown Buford will not be getting out of jail any time soon.
Jerome Daniel Colvin, 34, of Auburn, Ga., was arrested and charged with felony murder, malice murder, and aggravated assault the afternoon of Nov. 20 shortly after the deadly shooting. He is accused by police of gunning down Allen Craig Willard Jr., 25, of Suwanee, and leaving him to die in the middle of South Lee Street and West Main Street.

The two were former co-workers, but it is still not clear what led up to the confrontation.
Thursday, a judge denied bond for Colvin.
No word yet on his next court appearance.
