Burglar crashes car into Gainesville jewelry store
GAINESVILLE, Ga. - The Gainesville Police Department has made an arrest in a burglary at Dimo’s Fine Jewelry.
Around 1 a.m., on March 14 a witness saw a silver car deliberately ram the business to gain entry.
Police said Jack T. Hogan, from New Hampshire, walked into the business and made off with numerous items.
Officers caught up with Hogan near Brown’s Bridge Road at Skelton Drive.
According to reports, Hogan crashed his car along Brown’s Bridge Road at Green Crest Drive before he was taken into custody.
He has been charged with Burglary 1st degree, DUI and failure to maintain lane.
