Canton police want to talk to man who allegedly didn’t turn in lost wallet
CANTON, Ga. - Canton police are looking for a man who reportedly didn’t do the right thing and failed to turn in a lost wallet.
According to the police department, the victim was playing video machines at Gabby's Wireless on Marietta Road on Dec. 7 when a wallet containing $700 fell out of his pocket.
An unidentified Hispanic man, wearing a blue shirt, black jacket, and gray-and-orange hat, later took the wallet from the seat where the man had been sitting, according to the police department.
Instead of turning it in, he took it with him.
Now, the Canton Police Department would like to have a chat with the man. If you know who he is, please contact Detective Priest at 770-720-4883 or Tom.Priest@cantonga.gov.
