Carvel is offering soft serve ice cream for 90 cents in honor of 90th anniversary
Carvel is serving up a sweet deal to celebrate their 90th anniversary.
The ice cream company announced Monday that it will offer soft serve ice cream for only 90 cents on August 19, which is also National Soft Serve Day.
Customers can get a small cup or cone of any soft serve flavor for the discounted price. There is a limit of one treat per person, and topics will be available at an extra cost.
Carvel offers a variety of flavors and recently brought back its fall, fan favorite flavor Pumpkin Cheesecake in several offerings including: the original soft serve, a shake, a sundae and an ice cream pop.

New eaters on DoorDash, UberEats or Grubhub can also score a $0 delivery fee with the purchase of any soft serve flavor between Aug. 19 and Aug. 25.
According to National Today, soft serve ice cream started in 1934 when Tom Carvel’s ice cream truck suffered a flat tire, which melted his ice cream in the parking lot, and then became a huge success.
