CDC official, husband acquitted of sexually abusing minor
DECATUR, Ga. - A DeKalb County jury has acquitted a Decatur couple on charges of sexually abusing a child.
The jury returned to the courtroom after a short deliberation to deliver the four “not guilty” verdicts for Centers for Disease Control official Kimberly Lindsey and her husband, T.J. Westerman.

Both defendants and their family members broke down in tears as the verdicts were announced.
Prosecutors accused the couple of molesting the 6-year-old boy in 2010.
Defense lawyers argued that the allegations were false and the boy's mother had concocted them.
