All-clear: Campus reopens after bomb threat at Clark Atlanta University

The Atlanta Police Department confirmed they helped investigate a bomb threat on the campus of Clark Atlanta University (CAU) Monday afternoon.

A CAU Public Safety spokesperson told FOX 5 they initiated a shelter in place as soon as they were made aware of the threat.

Atlanta Police provided campus police with bomb detection K-9 officers.

An imminent threat was not detected, and the campus was cleared to reopen.

"CAU encourages all members of their community to stay alert, be vigilant and if you see something say something," the spokesperson added.
