Clayton County high school placed on lockdown after student fight
CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. - A fight between four students at a Clayton County high school led to the school being placed on lockdown and one person transported to the hospital.
Clayton County officials told FOX 5 that the fight happened at Jonesboro High School at the start of school on Wednesday.
As a precaution, officials said the school was "placed on soft lockdown."
Clayton County paramedics responded to the fight and transported one person to the hospital.
Officials say no other students in danger at any time during the fight.
They plan to send a letter home to Jonesboro High School parents and guardians about the fight.
