Clayton Police: Teacher arrested for being drunk at prom
RABUN COUNTY, Ga. - A Rabun County teacher is accused of being drunk at his school's prom last weekend.
According to a police incident report, a Clayton Police officer responded to the Civic Center on May 5 in reference to a teacher being intoxicated at Rabun County High School's prom.
The responding officer said the teacher, identified as 32-year-old John Kilby, had bloodshot, watery eyes, and smelled like alcohol.
Kilby agreed to provide a breath sample, and after several attempts, he blew a .124.
The officer arrested Kilby at the prom. He was charged with public drunkenness, and taken to the Rabun County Detention Center.
