Cobb Co. Police Investigate School Threat

COBB COUNTY, Ga. - Police in Cobb County are investigating a threat at a middle school.

Extra police are on campus at Lovinggood Middle School, working to learn more details. The school said this stems from a threat made online Tuesday night. 

The school said the threat happened in a "chat room" among students.

"The safety of our students and staff is always our number one priority," a spokesperson for the school said.
