Cobb County could charge for voter challenges

The Cobb County Board of Elections is considering to charge if someone wants to challenge the eligibility of other voters. A hearing is being held Aug. 3.

COBB COUNTY, Ga. - In Cobb County, the Board of Elections is considering a policy that would require individuals who challenge the eligibility of other voters to cover the associated costs. 

A hearing on this matter is scheduled for Aug. 3. 

Additionally, the board has decided to only consider challenges to voters labeled as active, meaning many challenges will likely be dismissed.
