A double shooting late Tuesday night leads police in Cobb County to a large cache of guns and illegal drugs.

Police arrived at a home in the 300 block of Windy Hill Road near Atoka Drive in Cobb County just before 10 p.m. Tuesday. Cobb County police said Martin Barnes, 26, of Marietta, went into the home and began to fight with Devito Young, 25, also of Marietta. It is unclear what spurred the argument, but Young ended up suffering a head injury and Barnes was shot in the back by another person in the home. Both were taken to an area hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Barnes is being aggravated assault. In addition, Barnes, Young, and another man, Travis Lawson, 37, of Marietta, are being charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Leshae Aldridge, 22, of Marietta, was charged with theft by receiving stolen guns and drug trafficking.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting and the details surrounding the charges have not yet been released.
