Cold case detectives look for missing woman

Lisa Daniels hasn't seen her daughter, Tiffany Whitton, since the 26-year-old disappeared two years ago from a Marietta Walmart. But now she's hoping a new set of eyes might lead to a break in the case, which was recently turned over to the Cobb County Cold Case unit.

"Cold case units are really dedicated to digging deep and getting the answers," said Daniels.

The cold case investigators have more time and resources to use when it comes to cases like Tiffany's. Part of her family's strategy is to keep the story out front, hoping somebody knows something and will come forward to give the cold case unit more information to work with.

"The more people that see this story, the more chance we have that the right person is going to see this story and say 'Hey I know that girl, and I know what happened'," said Daniels.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Cobb County Cold Case Unit or the Marietta Police Department.
