FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - Fulton County officials said they refuse to give up their search for a convicted murderer who has not been seen for a month.
Alpharetta police said they believe someone is helping fugitive Shane Woods hide. The 25-year-old fugitive boldly walked away from his murder trial in street clothes February 8. The Fulton County District Attorney's Office said anyone helping Woods is making a mistake.
"If we have information that someone is or has been intentionally hiding him, and they know that he is wanted, then yes, they are facing charges," Fulton County Deputy District Attorney Peter Johnson said.
Woods and another man were convicted of murdering Zachary Rose.
The U.S. Marshall's Office is searching the southeastern United States, looking for the fugitive. Anyone with information can give them a call at 770 508-2500.
