Coweta County deputy fired after battery arrest

COWETA COUNTY, Ga. - A Coweta County deputy was fired after he was arrested for fighting with his ex-wife outside of work.

Deputies said 28-year-old Brandon Harris was charged with family violence battery.

Investigators said the argument happened in the parking lot of the sheriff's office.

Police said surveillance video shows Harris push her to the ground and then carry the argument into the building.

The 10-year-veteran was arrested and later released on bond.
